Description
The Denton Road farm is ideal for someone looking to get into the farmland investment market or wanting to expand their farming operation. There is potential for duck hunting the farm as it has a riser box for holding water along the ditch that bisects the farm. The topography allows for holding water on either side of the ditch. It is located just northeast of O'Keefe WMA. It lies on the south side of Denton Road a little over one mile from the intersection with Mississippi Highway 3.
The soils are comprised of Alligator and Sharkey clays. The topography is relatively flat but has three areas that will hold water for hunting. The gentle topography lends itself to landforming with minimal dirtwork. There is an old home site along the road that has community water and three-phase electrical service running beside the county road.
