Remote recreational 20 acre property on Kodiak Island's Kupreanof peninsula located close to Port Lions, AK 99550 The Kupreanof Peninsula is home to Historic Port Bailey Cannery in Dry Spruce bay, this area is now home to a sea plane base. Kodiak island is know for its great hunting opportunities of Kodiak brown bear and Sitka black tail deer along with upland game like grouse, waterfowl, duck, geese and small game like rabbit and squirrel of course. This property could be used for bird watching, equestrian trails, and ATV trails, map imagery show a creek running on the property that is located close to a lake that could be used for water sports. There is a lot of public land access to land around this area. Of course it wouldn't be Alaska with out an abundance of saltwater fishing, offshore fishing and freshwater fishing. This property is located about 20 miles by boat out of Port Lions where you will beach your boat and hike 1- 2 miles in to the property over an elevation gain of about 400 feet. The property is located next to a small lake that you might be able to land a small super cub type plane on, there appears to be a spring/creek that runs off the property.
