Sam Crawford

A Principal in the forestry consulting firm of Crawford Forest Resource Management, LLC., Sam expanded his services by becoming a licensed real estate agent with Mossy Oak in 2019. He specializes in assisting clients better understand the process of buying timberland and how best to capture its value over the long term. His passion about protecting the interests his clients by ensuring they have the knowledge they need to make the right decision concerning the sale or purchase of property is matched only by his firm belief that a good agent should have a servant's heart. An avid golfer and duck hunter, Sam is called Gumbo by his seven grandchildren.

He enjoys volunteering as a substitute Sunday school teacher and also active in Bible Study Fellowship. He holds a Bachelor of Science in forestry from Louisiana Tech and a Masters of Forest Business from Mississippi State. He has served as a Louisiana Forestry Association Board Member, Past chairman of the Louisiana Chapter of the Association of Consulting Foresters, and is a Registered Forester in Arkansas and a Certified Forester by the Society of American Foresters.
